There are several BYOB restaurants in Chicago, but what about BYOF? Similar to bringing your own beer and wine, bringing your own food to a bar or brewery allows you to control what you eat and can save on cost. Those with dietary restrictions may like the ability to prep and bring food to a bar to be social without the limbo of ordering from a bar food menu.

These hidden gems offer their guests the ability to bring food to grill, and to borrow a grill to cook said food.

Grilling season isn't just for those with a patio! Especially those without outdoor space appreciate the great outdoors when summer rolls around. The Al Fresco League is a group of outdoor lovers in Chicago and beyond that seek out fun outdoor recreation activities.

Off Color Brewing

Off Color is a craft brewery and bottle shop, with freshly bottled beer on Fridays. When you visit the brewery itself, (not to be confused with the Tap Room), you can borrow the Weber grill for your grilling needs on the outdoor beer garden. This dog friendly beer garden is home to hungry grillers and pooches, but also the site where Off Color has held events like pints for pets which supports local causes such as Wright-Way Rescue

Cody's Public House

Cody's Public House has a fantastic beer garden where you can grill out, play cornhole or darts, and bring your four-legged friends.
