For any football fans getting ready for this year’s Super Bowl LIV, we’ve got you covered on the best bars to watch the game in several neighborhoods throughout Chicago. We’ve staked out the best deals, specials, and places for any fans. We even found a 49ers and Chiefs bar in Chicago (if that’s your home team) that you could totally be around other supporting fans there this Sunday!
Even if you aren’t a huge football fan, everyone loves a good Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a great excuse to have a good time and booze with your friends on a Sunday and maybe watch some million-dollar commercials.
If you check out any of these places, be sure to tag us @chicago_rex. Happy Super Bowl Sunday, everyone!
Near Ravenswood, this 49ers bar, has easily become a new favorite for us. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming, the staff is so nice. Carl, a bartender there, says to expect Super Bowl Sunday to be very busy, he’s expecting it to be mainly standing room only. The Globe is definitely a sports bar across the board, they’re a soccer bar, as well, so you could always go in earlier on another day to catch a day game (they’re Arsenal fans). A quick tip: The best time to go in is during their happy hour. Their deals were unbelievable, it will definitely become your favorite neighborhood bar.
Now, for all those rooting for the Chiefs, definitely give Toons in Lakeview a visit. They’ve got a pretty big bar, with a pool table, table shuffleboard, a dartboard, and more. They couldn't be more in the Super Bowl spirit, they have special edition Toons x Chiefs merchandise to purchase. It’s a fun way to remember this game day & show your support for the Chiefs and local business!
