There are a tun of great places to shoot darts in Chicago, let us point you in the right direction. If you're new to throwing darts, check out our article on how to play common dart games.

Chicago Dart Leagues

Windy City Darters is the largest dart league in the Chicagoland area, organizing singles and team leagues throughout the city based on player rankings. Beginners, brass, nickel and tungsten players all have a shot at a plaque or trophy. Want to preview the action? Watch live dart league games via Dart Connect TV.

Dart Tournaments

Di's Den is the best place to go for darts tournaments in Chicago, and hosts blind draw tournaments every Friday night. Di's Den has 12 well maintained steel tip dart boards used for casual, league, and tournament play. The weekly blind draw tournament on Friday nights is a great place to fine tune your dart skills, and perhaps win $500. The Windy City Darters also host tournaments, including qualifying tournaments for regional awards.

Bars, Breweries and Venues with Dart Boards

STEEL TIP DARTS

Any serious darter should become a member of the Windy City Darters to become ranked, participate in tournaments, and join a weekly singles or team dart league. Most bars have boards for steel tip darts, and that is the Bevver assumption/default too. If the arcade-like plastic darts are used, that will be noted!

In Andersonville target K's Dugout for a round of darts, or join a winning team in a dart league.

In Boystown, throw darts at Shakers on Clark. At AJ Hudsons, pair over 100 beer options with darts (or shoot pool and watch sports). Over in Logan Square, LeveeSmallBar, and Moe's Tavern are also dart bar options. The Walk In on the border of Logan Square and Avondale has a steel tip dart board.

The Garage in Norwood Park hosts dart league teams as well as casual darters. Shuffleboard is also an option, as is lounging on the roof deck. In Avondale, head to Frank and Mary's Tavern, which is equipped with steel tip dart boards, friendly bartenders, and Sinful Sunday variety shows if you're feeling saucy.

On Sunday nights, you can also pair darts with Karaoke at Oasis in Rogers Park, with $3 sangria and well drink specials. The Hidden Cove is also an option for combining both darts and karaoke. Glenwood is a Rogers Park dart bar option that allows well behaved dogs. Venture a bit further north to Evanston and you can play darts at a brewery thanks to Sketchbook Brewing.

Gamblers in Albany Park has dart boards for pickup games as well as leagues. Similarly, players can choose to shoot pool and join a pool league. Nearby Paddy Mac's also has darts, in addition to live music, open mic, and trivia nights.

SOFT TIP DARTS

The Hidden Shamrock has a soft tip video dart machine, a juke box to pump the tunes, and trivia on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

Dugan's on Halsted has an electronic darts game and other arcade games like bubble hockey in its dog friendly West loop bar.

Both Wild Goose and Gannon's Pub have electronic dart boards in North Center.

Shoot for the End Zone in Beverly.
