Meet some chaps at country music bars, or bring some chaps with you.

River North's Bub City is a country-themed bar and restaurant where it's 'country night' every night. However, if singing along is your jam, go on Tuesday night for live band karaoke. Lincoln Park Stadium Bar and Grill also has country night on Tuesdays.

If you want to feed your badonkadonk while listening to honky tonk, Smoke Daddy BBQ is another tasty choice. Their nightly live music selection frequently includes country acts. Joe's on Weed is your best bet for a country bar and concert venue and if you're craving barbecue before the show, slip on over to Dinosaur BBQ. Joe's recently took over the Toby Keith's Bar and Grill in Rosemont and always has a good show on tap.

The Country Club in Wrigleyville is another country-themed bar, but things get rowdy Thursday nights for country night. If you don't get your fill on Thursday, drop by on Fridays for Honky Tonk night, pardner. Zella and Pitchfork Food and Saloon also serve up country western glory on Thursday nights. If you're feeling sheepish about dance moves, head to Charlie's on Friday nights for free line dancing lessons at 10pm. If you learn some new moves come back the following Monday for the country night hoe down and bingo, ya hear?

Streeter's Tavern is a great place to pair $3.50 PBR with rockin' good country times on Sundays. Pair your PBR (or $5.50 Malort and $5 Veev) with a game of Giant Jenga, Foosball, Cornhole, or Beer Pong - all available at your leisure.

The Call in Andersonville has Country Dance parties every third Sunday from 4-8pm.
