Let's Leap into Spring!
Happy Leap Day! This special day comes but once every four years, as you've probably heard from every retailer offering sales today. We could leap into a pile of Leap Day puns here but there are more important issues at hand. After we leap, we March. March means more daylight and warmer days, so it's only natural to start daydreaming about outdoor recreation. Several establishments sponsor adult recreation leagues, so you can pair your physical prowess with a nice cold beverage (at a discount!).
Find local bars and pubs to sponsor your adult recreation league. Most, if not all rec league sponsors offer teams drink discounts or other incentives to visit after each game, so finding a convenient team watering hole is of the utmost importance. That's why we've organized Chicago's sponsoring bars by neighborhood.
New City
Sully's House is popular as a sponsor and post-game watering hole for kickball and other recreation teams.
Roscoe Village

The Four Treys Bar sponsors all kinds of rec league teams in Roscoe Village including baseball, basketball, kickball, dodge ball, soccer, billiards, and darts.
North Center

Tavern on Little Fort provides free team shirts to its North Center teams, in addition to $8 pitchers of post-game Bud Light, the ability to reserve tables, 10% off your weekly tab, and 20% off league fees. If you unlock the achievement of perfect attendance, Little Fort will host a team party to celebrate.
Lincoln Square
One of our favorite places to pair outdoor activities and a good drink is Ricochet's Tavern in Lincoln Square. This neighborhood bar not only sponsors rec league teams, they organize camping trips, golf outings, and other fun adventures - they're also affiliated with the Chicago Friars Ski & Bike Club (Apres ski anyone?).
West Loop
Westend Bar and Grill is not only a great place to watch the Blackhawks or UFC, they also sponsor rec league teams:
