Several kitty cafes have already started, and even more are in the midst of crowdfunding campaigns. The Blue Cat Cafe and food trailer in Austin successfully reached its $60,000 Kickstarter goal. Serendipicat, a french-themed cat cafe in Chicago, Happy Cat in Grand Rapids, and Crumbs & Whiskers in DC are gaining popularity. There's even a campaign to fund a book about a cat cafe, Hustle Cat.
